Well, i am a middle aged single gentleman, kind and polite ( maybe a little boring one, i am afraid 😁 )who knows how to trait a lady and who is searching for a mate able to cheer up his rather boring life.

First of all, excuse me for my bad english.
In fact, i learned most of all my english only by reading english books, so i can read it pretty well, but i'm not used to speak or write it (not to mention of my pronunciation...). Therefore, if you write in english, i can plainly understand, but i have some difficulty in stating in english. I hope you will be patient with me.

I live in Rome, alone in a big and quiet apartment placed in a beautiful and a bit exclusive neighbourhood, named "Parioli". I work as indipendant building supplies dealer, in a firm i have inherited from my father. I don't like my job very much, in effect, but it's the only job i have, and now it is too late for change it, and, at least, it provide to my necessity fairly well.
I have some hobbies, however, to cheer up myself: cooking, reading, painting, trekking.
About cooking, i'm pretty good at it, (so, at least, assure all my friends...).Do you know italian cooking? There are so many dishes, one could not eat the same food twice in a lifetime

About reading, well, i'm a keen reader, and i was so as far as i can remember. Time to time, i think i learned to read before to speak. My house is tapestried with shelves and shelves of books. My principal interest are history (especially ancient and medieval history), scientific essays (biology, evolutionism, phisics and astronomy),art, and classics of literature.


About painting...well, i think i'm pretty good at it, also, even if lately i don't practise it very much (not much time for it, now). I can paint only when i feel quiet and confident, and then, painting make me feel even much better.
I like oil painting and pencil drawing. I'll send you some photo of my works, if you want, copies of famous paintings and drawings, something from those that remain: most of them was raided by my friends and parents. Well, by the way, i could paint a portrait of you…

About trekking: i love mountains and forests, and quiet and loneliness.
In effect, i'm afraid not to be very sociable: i'm rather solitary.
Because my job, i have to meet many many many people, and i don't like it very much, so, when i can, i prefer to stay apart. Most of people i know bother me, then i prefer much more reading a book than attending a party. In spite of that, if i must, i can stand it, and someone says i'm even funny. But i hate vulgarity and pretentiousness , and i'm not very able to hide it. At last, i hate crowd and noise, and nobody could, never and never, drag me to a discoteque. ( I entered a discoteque once, when i was 18 y.o., and i was definitively vaccinated)
My motto is: two is company, three is crowd.
My ideal evening is a home dinner (cooked by me, of course...) with a pleasant and tender lady to attend to. What follow depend on the lady willing ( and on the success of my dishes, I suppose...).

I seek for a woman with an open mind, fairness, kindness, but also character. I like tenderness and sensuality (especially sensuality, i admit...) but i can't bear a simpering silly woman. I don't want a slave or a maid, i can't respect a 'yes woman'. Even if i can plainly provide to a woman, i would like my partner had her job, because i admire an indipendent woman with her interests and an her own life. But this is not a must, anyway.
The first thing that strike me in a woman is her face. If her face and her manners reveals cleverness, fairness and politeness, then, and only then, i'm able to take an interest in her. Otherwise, if her face and her manners reveals triviality and stupidity, i can't take any interest in her, even if she was Miss Universe.

What else? I'm not a liar ( well, not very much, anyway...), i do always keep my word, i'm perfectly sane, clean and polite, and i do know how to trait a lady. In short, i am a gentleman.
I don't care at all appearances, i care cleannes and politeness and kindness and fairness and a good culture. I wear generally casual clothes, and, even if i do admire an elegant woman, a pair of jeans and a t-shirt are perfectly o.k. for me.
I'm very tolerant, quiet, respectful and i don't like to quarrel. But i'm also resolute to obstination and not conformist. I know the world is costantly changing, and i like it, because i consider novelties and innovations as an opportunity and a challenge, not as a risk.
I'm definitively atheist, but i respect religious people, even if i can't understand them. Who i can't bear are astrology or 'new age' or spiritism believers.
I'm well off, but not very rich. I can provide to a woman pretty well, but i have to work hard for gain money.

If I would embark into a romantic barefoot hand-to-hand walking on the seashore under the moonlight, I would likely going to get a bad flu, so, please, don’t ask me for anything like this, unless you are ready to look after me while I am sick…😁


If you are interested in friendship, you are welcome whatever age you have, but, in this case, remember I don’t have so much spare time to spend in writing letters, so I am not very good as a Pen Pal, and friendship for me means something more than an endlessy mail exchange. You must be ready to meet me, sooner or later ( better sooner), either you come to spend a vacation in Italy as my host or I come to your country to visit you.


If you are interested in casual relationship,well… wow! As any sane male with sane appetites, I am absolutely favourable to “casual” relationship, ( at least till i am single 😁 ) but at my age I am simply not interested in fast sex. If I want fast sex, I can have it without problem, there is definitively no lack of suppliers on internet, as you probably know. If I am here it’s because I have different goals.
I need something more intriguing, based on a mutual exchange that must go beyond pure sex.
I am interested in women of any age (given there is “chemistry”), anyway, as I am not a pedophile, please, don’t write me if you are a teen ager or just something like that.
